- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the skillet with the marinara sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
- Serve with toothpicks for easy eating at holiday parties.
- Pair with spaghetti or serve on a sub roll for a meatball sandwich.
