Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, add them to the skillet with the marinara sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
