  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 package of cake mix (vanilla or white)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Fresh berries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. In a bowl, dissolve the Jello in boiling water, then add cold water and mix well.
  3. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and pour into a greased baking pan.
  4. Bake the cake as directed and let it cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, poke holes in the cake with a fork and pour the Jello mixture over the top.
  6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or until the Jello is set.
  7. Top with whipped cream and garnish with fresh berries before serving.
