Description

Delicious cookies that combine the flavors of cinnamon rolls and cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and chopped pecans (if using) to create the cinnamon roll filling.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Make a small indentation in the center of each cookie and fill it with the cinnamon roll filling.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
