  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. While the bread is baking, prepare the cream cheese glaze by mixing the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  8. Once the bread is done, let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
  9. Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the cooled bread before serving.
