- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 package of phyllo dough
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Layer phyllo dough in a greased baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the phyllo layers.
- Top with additional layers of phyllo dough, brushing with butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool, then cut into squares and garnish with chopped pistachios.
Notes
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a less sweet version, reduce the amount of powdered sugar.
