- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
- Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in chopped bell peppers or mushrooms.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Meatloaf can be frozen for up to 3 months.
