Description

Delicious cinnamon rolls filled with cookies and cream flavor, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup crushed cookies (like Oreos)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread a mixture of crushed cookies, cinnamon, and brown sugar on top.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  6. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For the frosting, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth, then spread over warm rolls.
