- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine Cool Whip, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
- Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a festive touch, add red and green sprinkles to the dough before baking.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
