Description
A delicious homemade version of the popular Panda Express Orange Chicken, perfect for a spring dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cornstarch and flour together.
- Dip the chicken pieces in the beaten egg, then coat them in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a separate saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer.
- Once the sauce thickens, add the fried chicken to the pan and toss to coat.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes
- For extra crispiness, double fry the chicken.
- Adjust the sweetness of the sauce by adding more or less sugar.
- Serve with steamed broccoli for a complete meal.
