  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the sliced onion until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. In a roasting pan, place the brisket and season it with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  5. Spread the sautéed onion and garlic mixture over the brisket.
  6. In a bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce, then pour it over the brisket.
  7. Cover the roasting pan with foil and bake for 3-4 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
  8. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the top to brown.
  9. Let the brisket rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
