Description

A delicious and easy recipe for a creamy beef chop and potato casserole that is perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef chops
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the beef chops on both sides.
  3. In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes and chopped onion.
  4. Place the browned beef chops on top of the potatoes.
  5. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk, then pour over the beef and potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some diced jalapeños.
