Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced mushrooms. Sauté until they are golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy mushroom sauce until well coated.
