Description
A flavorful twist on a classic favorite, combining steak and shrimp with Creole spices in a delicious quesadilla.
Ingredients

- 1 lb steak, sliced
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the steak and shrimp with Creole seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
- Add the seasoned steak and shrimp to the skillet, cooking until the shrimp are pink and the steak is cooked to your liking.
- Remove the mixture from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, place a tortilla and sprinkle half with cheese.
- Add a portion of the steak and shrimp mixture on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle more cheese on top and fold the tortilla over.
- Cook until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted, then flip and cook the other side.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach.
- Serve with salsa or sour cream for dipping.
