Description

A delicious and elegant potato dish infused with balsamic vinegar and fresh thyme, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer the potato mixture in a greased baking dish, pressing down to compact.
  4. If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is crispy.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
