Description

Delicious and crispy dumplings filled with savory cabbage, perfect for a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 package of dumpling wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, mushrooms, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the filling onto the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over to create a half-moon shape, sealing the edges tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the dumplings to the pan and fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  6. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, ensure the dumpling wrappers are egg-free.
  • These dumplings can also be steamed instead of fried for a healthier option.
