Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz crab meat, drained
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce until well blended.
  2. Place a teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wonton with water and fold to seal, forming a triangle or a purse shape.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
