Description

A delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring layers of crispy puff pastry, ham, and cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz ham, sliced
  • 8 oz cheese (your choice), sliced
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  3. Layer a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on half of the squares.
  4. Top with another square of puff pastry and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
