Description
A delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring layers of crispy puff pastry, ham, and cheese.

- 1 package puff pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz ham, sliced
- 8 oz cheese (your choice), sliced
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
- Layer a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on half of the squares.
- Top with another square of puff pastry and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

- Feel free to use different types of cheese for variety.
