- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the meat is no longer pink.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crock pot.
- Add the chopped bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, elbow macaroni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the crock pot.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, stir well and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or peas for extra nutrition.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
- This dish can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
