A comforting slow-cooked dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy Italian sauce, served over angel hair pasta.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- Mix in a bowl the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Cook about 30 minutes before serving the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Shred the chicken in the sauce and stir to combine once it’s done.
- Serve the chicken and sauce mixture over the cooked angel hair pasta.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For added depth of flavor, sear the chicken before slow cooking. You can also add vegetables for extra nutrition.
