Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 can (biscuits) refrigerated dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cut the biscuits into quarters and add them to the crockpot.
  6. Stir gently to combine and cover again until the biscuits are cooked through.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry before adding the biscuits.
  • Feel free to substitute the mixed vegetables with your favorites.
  • This dish can be frozen for later use.
