A delicious and easy recipe for soy honey garlic chicken made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

  • For a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and simmer the sauce on the stove until reduced.
