Description

A delicious and nutritious tart made with dandelion greens and feta cheese, perfect for a light meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 cups dandelion greens, washed and chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the dandelion greens until wilted, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  5. Add the sautéed dandelion greens and crumbled feta to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
