A soothing and nutritious latte made with dandelion root tea, perfect for a cozy afternoon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons dried dandelion root
- 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- 1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the water in a small pot.
- Add the dried dandelion root to the boiling water and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a cup, discarding the dandelion root.
- In a separate saucepan, heat the milk until warm but not boiling.
- Whisk the warm milk until frothy.
- Add honey and vanilla extract to the dandelion tea and stir well.
- Pour the frothed milk over the dandelion tea mixture.
- Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top for garnish.
