Description

Deliciously crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these deep-fried strawberry cheesecake pies are a delightful dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 package of pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • Additional powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the crust over and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry the pies until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
