Ingredients

- 1 package of crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese and jalapeno mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, forming a twist.
- Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more jalapenos or use spicy cheese.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
