Description

A classic recipe for making delicious deviled eggs that are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water and bringing it to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
  3. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  5. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork.
  6. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Mix until smooth.
  7. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  8. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
