Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use buttermilk instead of regular milk.
  • This bread can be served warm or at room temperature.
