- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan.
- Once the cake is baked and cooled, poke holes in the top using a fork.
- In a bowl, mix the drained crushed pineapple with sugar and spread it over the cake.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold in the vanilla extract.
- Spread the whipped cream over the pineapple layer.
- Top with shredded coconut and chopped pecans.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
