- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a baking dish, layer the sliced zucchinis at the bottom.
- Place the cubed chicken on top of the zucchinis.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing before baking.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
