Ingredients

- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped spinach, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add cooked ground meat to the cheese mixture for extra protein.
- Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving for added flavor.
