Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 3/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, etc.)
  • Coarse sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and transfer the dough onto it, spreading it out gently.
  6. Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough.
  7. Sprinkle fresh herbs and coarse sea salt on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
