Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces noodles (your choice)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the beef, shred it, and return it to the slow cooker.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions and add them to the slow cooker.
- Stir to combine and let it cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- This dish can be made a day in advance and reheated.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
