Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, add the gnocchi and dried basil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the gnocchi are cooked.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
