Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Separate the egg whites and yolks into two bowls.
  2. In the bowl with the yolks, add milk, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, and sugar. Mix until smooth.
  3. In the other bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture until just combined.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over low heat and add a little butter.
  6. Pour the batter into the skillet, using a ring mold if desired, and cover with a lid.
  7. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then carefully flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with syrup or fruit toppings.
