Description

Delightful Forgotten Cookies featuring airy egg whites, mini marshmallows, and rich chocolate chips, baked slowly using residual heat.


Ingredients

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in the vanilla, marshmallows, chocolate chips, and nuts if using.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Turn off the oven and place the baking sheet inside. Allow the cookies to bake slowly in the residual heat for several hours, or overnight.
