A delightful twist on the classic French dip sandwich, these French Dip Squares are perfect for any gathering or holiday dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. Layer the sliced roast beef evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese on top of the beef.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the broth mixture evenly over the beef and cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
