Ingredients

- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the rice and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
