Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place the cubed bread in the dish.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring they are well soaked.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) the next morning.
- Mix together the brown sugar and additional cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle this mixture over the soaked bread.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
- Serve warm, optionally with syrup or fresh fruit.
