Description

A delicious and hearty dish combining cabbage, Fritos, and a variety of seasonings for a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups Fritos corn chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook until it begins to soften.
  3. Stir in the black beans, corn, taco seasoning, and salsa. Mix well and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In a large serving dish, layer the cabbage mixture with Fritos and cheese.
  6. Top with additional Fritos and cheese if desired, then serve warm.
