A delicious and healthy twist on the classic General Tso’s dish, featuring crispy cauliflower and a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup of cornstarch
- 2 cups of vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the cauliflower in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a separate saucepan, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the fried cauliflower in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve the General Tso’s cauliflower over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes
- For a healthier option, you can bake the cauliflower instead of frying.
- Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
