A delicious and easy recipe for making Philly cheesesteaks using ground beef.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking until browned.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place provolone cheese slices on top of the beef mixture and cover until melted.
- Fill hoagie rolls with the beef and cheese mixture.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic or mushrooms to the beef mixture.
- Use different types of cheese if desired.
- Can be served with fries or a side salad.
