Description

A delicious and easy recipe for making Philly cheesesteaks using ground beef.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart and cooking until browned.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Place provolone cheese slices on top of the beef mixture and cover until melted.
  6. Fill hoagie rolls with the beef and cheese mixture.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic or mushrooms to the beef mixture.
  • Use different types of cheese if desired.
