A delicious and healthy recipe for ground turkey stuffed bell peppers, perfect for a nutritious meal.
Ingredients

- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and sprinkle cheese on top if desired.
- Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.

- Feel free to add other vegetables to the stuffing mixture.
