- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup orange food coloring
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the orange food coloring and mix until well blended.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, then dollop the cream cheese mixture on top. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer and swirl again if desired.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if using.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
