- 4 oz cooked ham, diced
- 4 oz cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss), shredded
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares or rectangles.
- Combine the diced ham and shredded cheese in a bowl; season with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to form a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
