Delicious and flaky Ham & Cheese Puffs, filled with savory ham and melted cheese, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 4 ounces of deli ham, chopped
- 4 ounces of cheese (cheddar or Swiss), shredded
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares, about 3×3 inches.
- Mix in a bowl the chopped ham, shredded cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and press to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with a crisp salad.
Notes
For a healthier option, use low-fat cheese and whole-grain pastry. These can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
