- 4 cups diced potatoes
- 2 cups diced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, diced ham, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
- Layer half of the potato and ham mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Pour half of the soup mixture over the first layer.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add more milk to the soup mixture.
- Feel free to add vegetables like peas or corn for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
