- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup French fried onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
- In a large baking dish, layer the drained green beans, followed by the beef mixture.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and French fried onions if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or peas for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
