Ingredients

- 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a food processor, blend the black beans until smooth.
- Add almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), cocoa powder, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt to the food processor and blend until well combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into football shapes.
Notes
- For a nut-free version, substitute almond butter with sunflower seed butter.
- These brownies can be decorated with white icing to resemble football laces.
