A comforting and easy recipe for a delicious beef stroganoff made in a slow cooker.

- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Cooked egg noodles for serving
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the beef stew meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms.
- Pour in the beef broth and add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
- In a small bowl, mix the sour cream and flour together until smooth.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir the sour cream mixture into the slow cooker.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, you can add more flour to the sour cream mixture.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas for extra nutrition.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for easy meals.
