- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce, followed by a layer of noodles, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with sautéed vegetables.
- This lasagna can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
